Recovery Settings in QTP

Recovery scenario comes into picture when you want to handle some exception in the test by creating a Recovery scenario. Now to add this recovery scenario to a test we need to associate it in the test Settings.

You need to navigate to File > Setting > Test Settings >Resources.

You can add the recovery scenario file .qrs by clicking the + button and checking the check button in the list pane for a particular recovery file and also can activate the recovery scenario for which you want like Never, On every Step or On error.

You can also edit the recovery scenario by clicking the edit button.
